Lauren Delk Ceramics

Lauren Delk is an artist working and living in Philadelphia, PA. Her work explores a variety of surface design techniques and firing methods. In her work, she decorates surfaces with hand-painted botanical illustrations using a resist technique that creates a contrast between glaze and raw clay. In addition to ceramics, she is a painter and mixed media artist and finds inspiration in the natural world and minimalist design.
Lauren is also a wheel-throwing instructor and studio technician at Black Hound Clay Studio.
