The Brooklyn Biscuit Company began when Brooklynite Liz Santiso started making biscuits for her community garden’s bake sales. The biscuits turned out to be so popular, a business was born. Biscuits with enticing additions like fruits, herbs and fresh vegetables are still at the heart of Liz’s menu, with sweet and savory options always available next to her classic buttermilk biscuits. In fact, the New York Times called their Goat Cheese and Cracked Black Pepper biscuits and Chipotle Cheddar biscuits some of the best in New York. But her menu has grown to also include buttery scones, seasonal strawberry shortcake, and ready-to-eat biscuit sandwiches.
