Whiskey Morning Coffee

We are from Tolar, Texas. My family was peanut farmers until my grandad got drafted to WW2 where he started moonshining. Dub got pretty famous for his moonshine in the South Pacific during the war. Having a family history of making whiskey my dad made it legal and started Sledge Distillery on the family ranch in Tolar.

I grew up knowing how to make whiskey and had access to used barrels. For a college project me and 4 lifelong friends began making coffee how we liked it, aged in whiskey barrels! We age all our coffee in the family whiskey barrels and fireroast the beans on the ranch. Whiskey Morning Coffee is: "The Coffee of Texas. The Coffee of the People."
