Belly Wxsted

Belly Wxsted was founded in 2022 by Conjay, who has been making beads since they were a child. As a mindfulness practice, Traditional African Waist Beads encourage mind-body connection and are a way to connect with African traditions, especially for folks a part of the diaspora looking to reconnect or stay connected with their roots. Belly Wxsted makes waist beads for every belly and celebrates the ways our bodies grow and change over time.
