Chaima is no stranger to the food & beverage industry. When she first moved to Canada in 2021, she worked as a private chef at UBC and as a production chef at a catering company. Her mother is a chef in Morocco, so the kitchen became her form of therapy whenever she felt alone in this new country 👩🏻🍳
Last year, Chaima went on maternity leave and decided to switch gears, joining @flavoursofhope’s Dream Cuisines program. She started @darnamoroccanflavours in hopes of sharing her Moroccan heritage with the rest of Vancouver.
