A former science teacher and lover of all things curious, Jeanna has embarked on a second career in pottery. She didn't chose it because she was good at it but because she found it tragically hard. She creates many epic failures but loves to celebrate (and sell) her random successes. The name of the studio (1 Ugly Mug) came from both her love of making odd looking faces in clay and the coments of her family and friends as she first began her second life of clay. Sometimes you need to embrace the wonky side to find your joy.
