About

My mom is my inspiration. She was an artist; and gave me lessons when I was little and took me to art shows and craft fairs where she sold her paintings and did quick likenesses. I left painting behind as I got older and busy with life. until she had a devastating stroke in 2017. It prompted me to start painting again to honor the work of her life.. I started out painting sweet peas in watercolor because they were her favorite flower. (She and Daddy didn’t have a lot when they got married at the preacher’s house with a few family members. The preacher’s wife went out in the yard and picked her bouquet of sweet peas, and they became her favorite flowers..They became my favorite too.) I have continued to paint but also have branched out into the colorful world of polymer clay jewelry. I pair most of earrings with a little watercolor. It’s my way of sharing my own heart with the world. My paintings are small florals, landscapes and beach scenes, and my earrings will speak to all sorts of hearts: from wild and adventurous to calm and joyful. I hope you have a chance to visit me.
