SoHo Hound

SoHo Hound was founded in September of 2013 by Lalka Morales and Amanda George. We are a dog-walking and pet-sitting company based exclusively in the South Tampa area. We believe that pets are members of the family, and we want to make sure our clients can go about their daily activities without having to worry about the happiness, health and wellbeing of their pets while they are away, whether it be at work or on a trip. Our menu of services includes dog-walking, overnight pet sitting, transportation to vet / groomers (more), personal pet shopping for food, bathing service and an exercise program. We also take care of other pets including but not limited to cats, birds, fish, bunnies, etc.

Proud to be #1 on Yelp, we are operational 7 days a week, 365 days a year including all weekends and holidays. We are staffed with an average of 15-20 part-time independent contractors who have varying schedules that we manage on an hourly basis, allowing us to provide our services virtually whenever a client may need them. We perform on an average of 50 pet visits a day, which includes our in-home overnight program.

We also love using our platform to give back to the community with bringing awareness to rescuing pets. Our community involvement ranges from Pet Costume Contests to benefit local charities, to bringing awareness to animals who need homes, food drives during the holidays for pets in need, hosting Yappy Hours, providing prize baskets and complimentary services to help local photographers grow their business to taking service animals to local nursing homes. We have partnered up with the Humane Society and Pet Resource Center on numerous fund raising events to push the message, "adopt don't shop." We are a name that is recognized for our charitable work as much as our professional work.
