Non Gmo Integrated Pest Management Extended Growing Season
Nexgarden is an indoor farming company, using sustainable engineering and agriculture technology to create ideal environmental conditions, allowing us to grow crops all year round using 95% less water than traditional outdoor methods. Because Nexgarden farm is within city limits, we're able to use fresh municipal water maintained by the Portland Water Bureau. Our produce is never exposed to pesticides, herbicides or fungicides, and all seeds and nutrients used for growing are organic and non-GMO. Nexgarden farm facilities are completely sealed, which greatly reduces risks of exposure to wildlife and pests common with outdoor farming. Regular inspection for pests is a standard practice, using lady bugs to control aphids and live traps for other wildlife, which to date has not been an issue. The Nexgarden team is innovating every day to operate more efficiently to bring you affordable produce.
