What started as a running joke; that Destiny (my wife) basically has her own bakery whenever she needed baked goods for a party, pot luck or work event eventually turned into this business.
I’ve always loved cooking and working with food and flavors but my interest in baking grew when I became a manager at a retail wholesale bakery. Learning to make from-scratch bread was one of my favorite things to do at my job. That love really turned into passion when I took Paternity Leave in 2023. I started testing recipes, working towards ‘the perfect’ cinnamon roll and bread loaf while caring for our newborn son.
I loved it so much; being home with my son and working creatively with food, that I decided to step down from my position to do more of it. I had learned a lot as a manager; how to run a business and how to make the process more efficient, I just decided that maybe this hobby could be my own business. A legacy I could leave my son one day or at the very least teach my little Chef what I learn along the way. I also really wanted to share all that I was making and learning with others, because everyone deserves good bread. People deserve quality ingredients from a baker they can trust who is always working to improve their product and bring them more and better. That’s us, a baker and a business that cares deeply about good bread!
