Hello, My name is Ewelina and I have been with Created since January of 2016, I am a graduate of the program and became a staff member on the team in 2018. I started on our Club Outreach team where we go into strip clubs in our city and share gifts and friendship with women. We started social enterprise in early 2017 and It is where I was able to use my creativity, which I found in myself through Created, to make hand-made aluminum bracelets with encouraging words and meaning to share with vulnerable women. It has a personal story for me and I wanted to share that hope with others. We started selling them at different local markets and events, along with our hand-made natural essential oil soaps and salt and sugar scrubs and Created logo t-shirts. Doing this has helped me to find a strength within myself and something to pass on as a job skill to other women that feel like they have nothing to offer the world. These courageous women, who have overcome a past of sexual exploitation, are serving in different positions at Created, such as: marketing, production, sales, communication and much more. Learning these skills has enhanced their healing and lives.
