About

Peaceful Creations is a groovy local ice cream truck in the form of a 1974 VW Dessert bus that inspires peace. The VW itself is a work of art, craftsmanship, and creation. I like to say it gives people a flashback to the late 1960’s. I named the bus Jerry, after Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead. Jerry definitely fits the vibe of this VW. This is a place to indulge your taste buds with a sweet frozen concoction, all the while being inspired to help the world become a more loving, peaceful place. For me, feeling at peace is an internal knowing that the world is not something to fear, that all humans are basically good, that we are one people, one family that is not separated by religion, ethnicity, gender, or race. Peaceful Creation’s mission is to inspire people to practice more love, peace, and happiness with one another all while enjoying a delicious ice cream treat on a hot summer day in Colorado.

About the Product:
Peaceful Creations ice cream product is homemade and locally sourced from Magill’s Ice Cream, a mom and pop ice cream joint that has been around since 1981. They use all-natural Colorado Dairy from local dairy Royal Crest for their delicious homemade ice cream. Our menu also offers another option for most dietary restrictions, locally sourced hemp ice cream sandwiches for people who are vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and lactose-free.

Spreading Peace for the Community and the Planet:
Peaceful Creations serves free ice cream to our homeless community and at the end of every summer season, ice cream is donated to a non profit organization that supports and feeds the local homeless population. Past organizations that have been donated ice cream to are the Denver Rescue Mission, Feeding the Future, and the Arvada Food Bank.

Peaceful Creations also promotes peace for our earth by committing to the zero waste pledge; which includes that all serving dishes, utensils, and napkins (Wooden spoons, rice paper bowls, paper straws) are certified compostable to be a more sustainable company for our Earth.

Manager

Kayla Voeltzel
My name is Kayla Voeltzel. I was inspired at a very young age to work for myself and be my own boss. There is something special about being self-sufficient, creative, and independent when “making a living”. The freedom to coordinate my own hours and work schedule has always been very important to me, considering that I am a ski bum. Skiing is my passion. The dream life is to work hard during the summer months to take off the winter for skiing and travel. My mentality revolves around working to live instead of living to work.

My goal was to have financial freedom by starting my own unique business that made the world a better place. At 18 years old, I searched “work for yourself” into craigslist while I was a freshman in college, and immediately came across this groovy, brightly colored, 1974 VW Bus with a crazy roof on top. I converted it into an official mobile restaurant in Denver. I wanted to spread peace and happiness through this VW while offering a delicious product to sell, I called these ice cream concoctions, Peaceful Creations.

Today, the dream has been realized. Peaceful Creations has become a booming success! This ice cream bus serves the community all around the Denver/Boulder area at big festivals, parties, fundraisers, concerts, and private events including school events, graduations, weddings, office parties, birthday parties, etc.
