Growing up in a small village just outside of Bristol, England, I moved to Florida in 2001 to pursue a higher education and sample what America had to offer.
I graduated from Florida State University with a BS in apparel design and technology, and proceeded to work for local clothing companies within Tallahassee, Florida, as well as running my own pop up shop, Lady Jane.
I have been a vendor at both FSU, UNF and USF, also participating in local first Friday events. I love doing pop-ups!
I currently reside in Savannah, Georgia, working as a digital textile technician for the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Lady Jane is a fun mix of both handmade and vintage clothing. I try to revamp a lot of the vintage, and a majority of the handmade items are made from vintage fabrics and recycled fastenings (zippers, buttons etc).
Each piece is one a kind, patterned and constructed by myself.
