Copperpenny Distilling Co. is a North Vancouver based grain-to-glass multi-award-winning
Distillery and Cocktail Lounge. Born of a dare amongst friends to create a truly BC gin that reflected
the unique regional flavours and culture of the West Coast, husband and wife team Jan Stenc and
Jennifer Kom-Tong took the leap of faith to build a now globally-recognized Craft Gin Distillery using
the many aromatic botanicals, grains, and crystal clear waters that BC has to offerr. Craft Gin use of
local botanicals as part of the distilling process; means buying a Gin will give you a glimpse into the
local region’s environmental makeup. A bottle of Gin abroad will give you a memory in a bottle,
reminding you of the places you’ve visited. The sentimentality of a good gin is incredibly important
for a reason and why Jan and Jen picked it as the flagship spirit with which to launch Copperpenny.
