Edible Landscapes MN

Edible Landscapes MN has a dream to help every Minnesotan experience the joy of growing food at home. We help families and communities install "backyard to fork" edible landscapes that provide yields for years to come.

Types of edible landscapes range in size and include: herb spirals, berry gardens, fruit tree guilds, mini vineyards, mini orchards, foodscapes, greenhouses, backyard farms, and food forests. We design and install using regenerative permaculture principles that reuse yard waste, harvest rain water, maximize sunlight exposure, fix nitrogen, grow natural fertilizer, attract pollinators, repel pests, suppress weeds, and grow abundance.

Our clients are mostly homeowners interested in transforming their lawn into a pollinator habitat that provides heathy food for life. We provide a masterplan design and educational playbook so they can DYI, or work with us directly to do the installation.

We are currently in conversations with local cities, community organizations and churches about potential future food forest projects.

We love the Northfield community and would love to work with residents interested in spearheading a project.
