SMOKED HUNTER STYLE SAUSAGE - KIELBASA MYSLIWSKA

Kiełbasa myśliwska ('Hunter's Sausage') is a type of polish kielbasa.

Hunter sausage are more coarse ground, fully cooked and great for charcuterie. Made with both pork and beef, and traditional spices: imported polish marjoram, juniper, black pepper, sugar and curing mixture, as well as fresh garlic. Their unique taste and smell is achieved by smoking and drying.

Polish hunting sausage become mandatory food for hunters for hundreds of years. Taken to the forest in a small bag slung over the chest, it allowed you to satisfy your hunger while stalking the game for many hours. Dried and smoked meats - therefore relatively durable, and at the same time having a handy form - have become very popular among hunting enthusiasts.
