Carb Perfection Sourdough Bakery serving Northern Virginia (Bristow, Nokesville, Gainesville, Haymarket, and Manassas) offers authentic, naturally leavened bread, focaccia, pizza dough and more.
All bread products are handmade in small batches. I use organic, ethically sourced ingredients – local whenever possible. Each loaf is fermented for a minimum of 20 hours using wild yeast sourdough culture and baked in dutch oven to a dark brown caramelization for deep flavor. No conditioners or preservatives are used. The fermentation process of yeast and bacteria predigest the starches and break down the gluten protein, making the bread highly digestible, not to mention delicious. Authentic sourdough is pleasantly but not overly sour. My bread is often compared to San Francisco sourdough.
