My earliest memories are intertwined with the simplicity of bars of soap, a childhood comfort that became a guiding inspiration. My grandfather, Blair, using Lava soap to wash away ink stains, imparted a valuable lesson in the efficacy of natural cleansing.
In 2004, my life took an unforeseen turn with a diagnosis of Lyme disease. This challenging journey became a transformative experience, leading me towards the healing embrace of natural ingredients. In 2022, a Lyme disease flare heightened my awareness of the financial strain that treatments bring, as insurance doesn't cover the entirety of Lyme disease recovery. Faced with this reality, the idea of Blair soap was born—a soap business not just to sustain myself but with a purpose to financially support my ongoing treatments and extend a helping hand to others grappling with chronic illnesses.
