Nugget’s Knits

I started Nugget’s Knits last year, but really started to devote myself seriously this year when I was pregnant and wanting to make myself clothes from vintage textiles I had inherited - most recently vintage quilts and bed sheets. Each piece is one of a kind garment. I am very devoted to minimal waste and sustainability so everything is I sew is either vintage and/or thrifted, and I employ low waste efforts to use every single bit of fabric during my process. Whatever I don’t use gets given to my friends in the sewing community for their own projects. Also, in an effort to make my garments accessible to all, I offer my pieces on a sliding scale price model.
