I create cyanotype prints and cards and gift tags.
Cyanotype printing is a technique that involves laying pressed plants, the negatives of photos or other objects, onto paper coated with a solution of iron salts before exposing it to UV light to create blue and white images. The plants I use are sourced locally, in the Ottawa region.
