GG's Stroopwafels

Our family has made scratch Stroopwafels for generations, often only for special occasions, as they are labor intensive.
My mother was the first of her family to be born in America. I am Gerri, my grandmother and mother's names were Geraldine and Gertrude and for my business I wanted to incorporate the spirit and presence of my family, hence, GG's Stroopwafels.
I feel close to them each time I make the special recipes passed on to me. Food is definitely the love language of the strong women of my family. I hope the sweet, soft side of the ladies who shared the joy of cooking and baking with me will be felt and that you can taste the love in our special treats with Dutch roots.
Stroopwafels are a pastry cookie, (each one is individually made in a special press), and filled with homemade carmel stroop (syrup in Dutch). Stroopwafels are available individually wrapped or tastefully boxed in half or full dozens. Special orders accepted for unique packaging and custom labels for weddings, baby showers and special events.
We also make bread pudding in several flavors (maple bacon, Carmel apple, lemon blueberry and more), spekuloos and butter cookies, olie bollen, pound cake and other traditional treats. We can't wait to share a "Touch of Dutch" with you.
