UPCAP

The Upper Peninsula Commission for Area Progress (UPCAP) advocates for and provides services to Upper Peninsula residents Within our organization, we have UP Food As Medicine and the U.P. Fresh Food Access Program, where we continue to focus infrastructure development while also identifying and increasing resources for local farmers throughout the region. This program will also enable individuals to purchase more fruits and vegetables, meats, honey, maple syrup, fish, dairy, and wild rice from local producers benefiting both their health and our local farming economy.
