Sweet T's makes artisan gelato using products from Italy and locally sourced fruits, milk and cream. We make specialty flavors including salted caramel, chocolate covered cherries, carrot, different fruit sorbets, banana bread and root beer float gelatos. We also make non-dairy and sugar free gelato as well.
We purchase ingredients with the highest quality. Our ingredients have no preservatives and is all natural. We have a machine that we use to pasteurize our gelato ingredients then it goes into a quick freeze. Then we blast freeze the gelato. This prevents water from freezing in the gelato so you do not get ice crystals and it makes it bacteria free. We place the gelatos in our freezers overnight. We use a mobile cart/freezer for travel events. We provide our services at weddings and festivals and special events. Sanitary practices are very important. Both owners and a manager have their Food Safe Management certifications. The below options do not pertain to us.
Theresa Chandler
Theresa Chandler owns and operates Sweet T's with her husband, Steven, and their daughter, Danielle. Theresa's family came from Sicily. Theresa visited Sicily twice and fell in love with the gelato. She knew gelato in the States could not compare, so she built a shop in Kingston Springs and sourced the finest ingredients from Italy to make the real deal. People travel from many surrounding towns and even other states to visit Sweet T's. Sweet T's is to be in a new music video (in two weeks) by Jake Owen. The song is Homemade. Many celebrities frequent Sweet T's for the delicious gelato and to see Sweet T herself. Sweet T makes everyone feel welcome and you can often see her encouraging her guests to try many of her flavors.
