About

I have been cooking since the age of 10. All of my food is homemade with love. It gives me great pleasure to make people happy with food, I live for this. I make all different types of foods. My specialty is savory but I makes sweets as well. I try to make it a point to cook for all types of eating including vegetarian. I am looking into vegan but this can be tricky and more expensive. This will be my first year at the farmers market and I am very excited to be apart of it. I have sold and given my food to family and friends for the past 15 years, and was told during that time to venture out. I even catered my son's wedding for approx. 125 people and that was a huge success. So I would like to give it a try. I have a few specific items that I want to sell: NM specialties fry bread, tortillas, salsa, biscochito cookies and maybe so Puerto Rican specialties sweet and savory empanadas, Arroz con pollo (yellow rice with chicken), and have really thinking on a couple of Filipino dishes such as chicken adobo, pancit and for a sweet item babingka which is a cake. I will try my hardest to make them in a vegetarian as well not sure about vegan though. Just checking to see how meat substitutes work as far as what meats are allowed to be used like imitation taco meat, tofu etc. I know beef and I believe pork you need a permit so those are out.
