I am an artisan jewelry maker located in Detroit. All my jewelry incorporates elements made of hand-painted paper, using techniques such as mono-printing and stamping in addition to free-hand painting in successive layers with acrylic paint, watercolors or ink. These painted elements are the focal point of my jewelry. Because of this creative process, every piece of jewelry is unique.

My jewelry is inspired by my passion for color, pattern and texture, as well as a strong interest for folk art and decorative painting. I love every step of the process, but it all starts with hand-painted paper: layers of color and patterns, playing with paint, mixing colors, mixing media, going where the process takes me. Once the paper is cut into pieces, I still don’t know what I’m going to do with them. I love to arrange and rearrange painted pieces with other elements, combining pieces together in a pattern or in a more random and intuitive arrangement. Because of this creative process, every jewelry piece is unique. My target customer is someone who likes wearable art, and colorful jewelry with a bohemian flair.
