Maryhill Fruit Company
Farmer
The family started farming in Maryhill, WA in 1936. The farm is directly below Sam Hill's Stonehenge Monument overlooking the Columbia River with Mt. Hood in the background to the West. We grow many different varieties of fruit including cherries, peaches, nectarines, apricots and more. We grow a variety of vegetables and have honey bee hives on the farm. The fruit stand is open when cherries start and closes mid October when the peaches are done. We also have a family winery, Waving Tree Winery, and grow our own wine grapes including some specialties: Nebbiolo, Barbera and Sangiovese are the Italians. Syrah, Grenache, Cinsaut, Mouvedre Petite Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon represent France.
