Lamb's Rest Farm

Dreaming of our farm, years ago, we envisioned our primary farm focus would be luxurious woolly sheep. Our dream hasn't come to fruition, but instead our primary focus is rough coated picky dairy goats, who were the one animal we vowed we would never bring onto the farm. In a moment of weakness we decided to try dairy goats. That one little goat, Maggie, made us fall in love with goats and milking and we now have around 30 adults. Our goats and us farmer's couldn't be happier. We still have a small flock of sheep that is growing, so maybe our sheep dream will come to be. But if it never does we are content to be Goat dairy farmers.

We provide a variety of goat milk products including raw goat's milk ice cream, raw goat's milk cheese, raw goat’s milk yogurt and sour cream to goat's milk soap, as well as garlic, flowers and a variety of body products including whipped tallow body butter, arnica salve, and all natural deodorant. Everything we offer we make and use on our farm.

We milk our goats by hand, feeding Non-GMO feed, and practicing regenerative ag practices to help make our land the best it can be. We never use any herbicides, pesticides, chemical fertilizers, antibiotics, or vaccines on the farm and are currently working on getting all of our inputs from farmers who use organic practices. We source as many inputs as we can for our products from local sources.
