We are a small family-owned and operated business. We design and hand craft unique pieces of functional art and wall art. Our designs allow natural elements such as wood and metals to complement each other. These natural elements combined with engineered materials such as resin, create a seamless synergy of materials that makes the sum not only stronger but more beautiful.
We handcraft one-of-a-kind pieces, one piece at a time. We cut, sand, and finish every piece by hand. Every piece is handmade with pride here in the USA.

In 2018, I decided to do something different. I decided to do something more…my wife reminded me how much I enjoyed making my first workbench and my first home office desk. She asked me, why don’t you start working with wood? You know you love wood…then she sent me a video of how resin river tables are made. The rest is history, I was hooked…I was in love. I said yes, I have to do this. Sugar Pine Wood Works was born. My quest for meaning and purpose was over. It all made sense…all the pieces came together. Growing up, I remember exploring and wandering in the woods and loving every minute of it. So, my love for wood together with my industrial engineering background and my “itch” for designing, creating, and making/crafting things all came together.
We are a small, family-owned and operated business, based in Tampa, Florida. This is the humble beginning of our company, but we have great ideas in store for new pieces of functional art that will definitely make a statement!
