Using the finest quality Japanese-made glass seed beads, I craft unique and expressive beaded earrings and accessories. My work mainly focuses on stud, stick, and fringe earrings, though I also make hatbands, necklaces, and bracelets.
Beading is a creative outlet which allows me to express myself through a functional, aesthetically pleasing finished piece. It is a channel that honors the long-standing tradition of hand weaving beads.
I was taught to bead by my Mother who was taught to bead by her Aunts. As an enrolled member of The Osage Nation, I feel in touch with my family, my ancestors, and my heritage as I weave beads together. For me, the process of bead weaving is meditative and contemplative, requiring a focused attention as beads are woven in one-by-one.
