Farmers' Markets is where it began for our small company. I was buying large amounts of basil from the farmers for my parents’ Northern Italian restaurant and a farmer asked me what I made with all the basil and I told her pesto. She invited me to join the market and sell pesto and I never looked back! I was one of the first prepackaged food vendors at farmers’ markets in Colorado.
Besides pesto, Loredana’s offers Marinated Asiago and Parmesan cheese with 100% pure olive oil, herbs, and garlic. Each product has a different ingredient to set it apart...from Italian, black winter truffles to sun-dried tomatoes and even Jalapeños, (we grow the jalapeños) each product has a flavor all its own. We also make marmalades: Firenze (Fig, almond, and rosemary-we grow the rosemary) Grappa, (fresh strawberries, Grappa, and thyme-we grow the thyme), and a Blueberry and Limoncello marmalade.
Lastly, Loredana’s offers some Vegetarian products as well: Pomodori, (sun-dried tomatoes-without sulfites), Cosenza, (olive tapenade), Fra Diavolo, a beautiful dry spice blend, and Loredana's Balsamic vinaigrette, a favorite for many for 30 years!
