Dr. Lindsay Kopp
Dr. Lindsay Kopp was born and raised in Gurnee, Illinois. Graduated from the University of Kansas with a BS in Exercise Science in 2015.
Rock Chalk!
During Dr. Lindsay’s time as a Jayhawk, she went to Africa on a medical mission trip. This is where she fell in love with Chiropractic care. Seeing a young woman, hit by a car, walk for the first time in weeks, after receiving a few adjustments. Then experiencing the excitement and eagerness of teachers and children to receive chiropractic care for the first time in their lives.
The firsthand experience she received in Africa is what urged Dr. Lindsay to attend Cleveland University, Chiropractic and Health Sciences, in Overland Park Kansas. After graduation, Dr. Lindsay opened Bluebird Chiropractic.
Dr. Lindsay’s husband, David Kopp, accepted a position in Salt Lake City in February 2018. David, a Master Sergeant in the United States Army, has proudly served for 15 years, including tours to Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait. Dr. Lindsay and David have settled nicely into their new home in the Sugarhouse area. With two dogs, Copper and Milly, they spend most of their free time being adventurous in the nearby mountains. Dr. Lindsay and David also have two cats, Myles and Jack. You may also spot them around town enjoying a recreational sport with close friends such as slowpitch softball, indoor volleyball or dodgeball.
Dr. Lindsay's passion is for babies, young children and pregnant mommas. She is Webster certified. She loves adjusting babies with a safe and gentle technique because of the pure response from the baby. Also, she finds it very important that a pregnant momma takes care of herself. Chiropractic is a great holistic approach to help get through some of the growing pains of pregnancy.
Dr. Lindsay was a World Cup athlete for the U.S.A Women's National Baseball team. She pitched for the team during the 2010 World Cup games, in Venezuela, where the team earned a Bronze Medal. In 2015, she pitched for Team USA in the Dominican Republic where the team earned a Gold Medal. She played baseball growing up and was the first female athlete to play baseball for her high school. Dr. Lindsay has had her fair share of injuries and loves to provide relief to other athletes as well.
