As an artist, I was always impressed with art styles using distorted, abstract, surreal, and sometimes bizarre elements, in mechanical, geometrical, machine-like form. In the art world, these styles are known as Cubism and Surrealism. Stylistically, what I seek to achieve in my art, through intentional distortion, is to remove the exactness from an image and thereby force the viewer to “think into” the image, in order to fill in the missing elements. The art, then, is always involving in its uniqueness, and it becomes a collaboration between artist and viewer. And every art piece is absolutely unique – no two are alike. I hope you enjoy my creations!
