About

Mama J’s Jollijeep is a family-owned business run by Paul and Kristine and Kristine’s parents Mama Jocelyn (Mama J) and Papa Will. Mama J’s started during the pandemic, offering home-made kakanin (rice cake) and bread to the Filipino community in the Tampa Bay area. In the summer of 2021, Mama J’s started selling its kakanin and bread on Saturday mornings at the Pinellas Farmers and Flea Market. Due to customer requests for Philippine food, Mama J’s obtained a catering license in May 2023 and rented a shared commercial kitchen in Clearwater, FL. In September 2023, Paul and Kristine decided to buy their first food trailer and Mama J’s Jollijeep was born. Mama J's Jollijeep officially started on November 8, 2023. Mama J’s Jollijeep is known for Philippine cuisine like menudo (pork stew), dinuguan (pork blood stew), chicken adobo, pork siomai (potstickers), lumpiang shanghai (pork egg roll), lumpiang togue (tofu and vegetable egg roll), pork sisig and pancit (rice noodles).
