Thistle Whistle Farm

Thistle Whistle Farm grows a diversity of vegetables, herbs and fruit on 15 acres in the North Fork Valley of Colorado. We grow to organic standards, but choose to not certify. We maintain soil health and biodiversity through crop rotation, cover cropping, extensive use of compost, integrating grazing animals into the mix, and allowing for wild areas and native plants on the borders of our fields. Our mission combines production for our local communities with education. We provide workshops, tours and farm food opportunities to groups and individuals, from preschoolers to seniors. We aim to provide flavorful, nutritious food, focussing on traditional varieties with stories that connect us with the cultures that created and celebrated them.
