Ultreia Farm and Wellness

Ultreia Farm & Wellness is a small, diversified farm located in Cedaredge. We farm about one acre plus two hoophouses using all organic practices. (We were Certified Naturally Grown for several years and let this lapse simply because our clientele didn't understand or recognize the certification, and it was an extra cost. We'd be more than happy to get certified again.). On our farm we grow veggies and flowers, we offer plant starts in the spring and early summer, and we raise a small number of heritage breed turkeys. We have been farming in the Surface Creek Valley since 2017 and sold at the Ridgway Farmers Market for six seasons and then had a weekly Pop Up Market this past season in Cedaredge. For many years we offered a Veggie CSA but now offer only a Summer Flower CSA. We are very transparent in our practices, using all drip irrigation, minimal tillage using our BCS walk-behind tractor, and starting all plants here on our farm from organic seeds (whenever possible). We do not use weed cover, we "fertilize" using certified organic compost from Soil Not Dirt in Crawford, and we do not use any synthetic pesticides or herbicides.
