Gigi’s Microgreens & More, was established in 2022, by a USAF minority female veteran in Springfield, VA. We use organic/non-gmo seeds and organic growing processes. We are is a small “direct to community” farm that offers home deliveries anywhere in the Burke/Springfield & select local areas… Our microgreens are delivered less than 24 hours after harvesting.
We specialize in growing 10 varieties of nutrient-dense microgreens. Microgreens are the earliest stage of a vegetable plant’s development, after the germination & sprouting stages. They are “Living foods” - Easy and purposefully utilized in their most nutritious and delicious state.
Microgreens are your new lettuce & spinach, but with a power punch of vitamins and antioxidants levels up to 40X higher than more mature greens. They boost your immune system, lower inflammation and improve gut health. They are richer in micro minerals such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium. Also richer in micro minerals such as, zinc and copper.

Gigi’s Microgreens & More was birth as result of my desire to provide nutritious fresh food year round to my family. We are a plant-based family, so having nutritious food is a priority. I love and enjoy vegetable gardening and using fresh ingredients to create delicious meals. Since our growing season is not year round, I turned to microgreens for their quick growth and nutritional value. I began growing microgreens about ten years ago. Now, I’m excited to offer these amazing superfoods to my neighbors.
