The Royal Gorge Whitewater Festival (RGWF) the premier, community event of the summer in beautiful Cañon City, Colorado, July 17 & 18, 2026!
The festival attracts both participants and attendees from across Colorado and neighboring states, with over 18K attendees in 2025. Our website garners over 28K unique visitors and our Facebook page has 5.6K followers. The festival features: 100+ vendors, 10 live bans on 2 stages over 2 days, 14 whitewater events, 5 running/mountain biking trail events. RGWF is excited to offer festival goers a wide variety of Food, Merchandise, Information and Activity Vendors to enhance their experience. Each year, we receive hundreds of applications from regional vendors to participate in this expansive event.
Centennial Park is conveniently located near historic downtown in Cañon City, Colorado. On the banks of the Arkansas River, the park offers excellent spectator viewing of the events.
