Events in Olde Towne Portsmouth

High Street Fest is an initiative of Portsmouth Main Street, under the umbrella of the Portsmouth Partnership. This event covers 5 blocks of Historic Olde Towne Portsmouth, along High Street, between Effingham and Middle Street, and on Court Street, between Queen & King Streets. The event will host continual live music on two stages, outdoor dining and entertainment, activations throughout the event footprint, and a designated outdoor refreshment area allowing for attendees to enjoy libations anywhere within the event permit. 

We envision Olde Towne as the vibrant heart of Portsmouth, a walkable, inclusive destination where history, creativity, and community come together. It’s a place alive with art, culture, and commerce; where local businesses thrive, public spaces invite connection, and every street leads to meaningful experiences along the waterfront. Through thoughtful preservation and placemaking, we aim to inspire pride, attract visitors, and cultivate a strong, resilient environment where small downtown businesses can grow and succeed.
