Farmers Market
Established community market in the heart of the Chesapeake Medical District. Open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every Friday (weather permitting). Up to 20 local vendors, food trucks, and farmers with all of your market favorites focused on health and wellness for people and pets, plus a Community Corner for nonprofits and local agencies. Free REVIVE training offered onsite. SNAP/EBT, Farm Market Fresh, WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition benefits accepted on a vendor basis.
On the corner of Knells Ridge and Buckley Drive, one block west of Battlefield Blvd., Across from the new Veteran's Administration Clinic behind Chesapeake Regional Healthcare.

Kimi Stevens started the market in the parking lot of the Chesapeake Health Department in 2017 with one farmer and one table to serve WIC families and area seniors on S/FMNP. The market has since grown to a larger location with up to twenty vendors, food trucks, and producers from Western Tidewater to Eastern North Carolina. There is no cost to be a vendor, The only hard requirement is compliance with all food safety and VDACS regulations and licensing. The market vibe is one of a family. We complement each other; we do not compete.
