Artisan/Craft Market
Question/complaint for y’all- I don’t know about you but chasing down events, ensuring they are not scams, paying soooo much for each and there is no guarantee and getting ready for an event that only lasts a few hours is getting old. Or how about the Farmers Markets where you pay each Saturday 125+, 1,000,000 insurance blah blah blah. You MUST have a white tent with side walls… You can’t this you can’t that. It’s getting ridiculous! Am I mistaken here or is it almost not worth the hassle anymore?
I have the ability to “create” events through Marketspread. I can’t do this alone though. (I have a two year old and a manchild at home.)😂💗 I would like to create an event where vendors come for free and it’s for multiple days. Especially during the spring and summer. Maybe a rotating schedule? Idk just throwing around ideas. I live in Star and can think of several places that would host and work out well.
During Christmas I went to a local Boise brewery, they were having a Christmas Market; they didn’t charge me anything, they provided the electricity and I made 800 in just 3 hours and I had 4 more hours to go. I sold out of nearly everything! It was more enjoyable of an experience! I was allowed to tear down when I wanted to and leave .
