4th of July Parade

The 2026 Citywide 4th of July Parade will take place on Saturday, July 4, beginning with the traditional parade, followed by free ice cream, food, and family fun activities.at American Legion Post #434. This year we celebrate the 250th year of independence so we are going to Party like a Patriot!
The 4th of July parade will begin at 9:00 a.m. near Edgewood Elementary School and end at American Legion Post 434.

As part of our July 4th parade and celebration the Celebrations Commission is excited to host the Red, White, and Roll, Bike, Wagon, and Stroller Decorating Contest. The contest will be held on the grounds of American Legion Post #434 on July 4th at 11:30am. The contest is open to ages 2-17.  The theme for the contest is Party like a Patriot. It will be fun to see all the creative designs and patriotic flair. Prizes will be awarded. Who will have the most patriotic ride in the contest?  Join the fun and find out!
