The annual Goochland Day weekend kicks off its annual 2-day event with a Goochland Night, a Friday night concert with local talented artist who bring high energy. Goochland Day is the Saturday free public event showcasing a parade starting at 10am marches throughout the Goochland County Courthouse to the Goochland Sports Complex where you'll find vendors and fun things to do for kids of all ages at the festival that lasts from 11-3pm. Goochland Day's mission is to celebrate the people and business of Goochland County.
**Vendor Locations at the Goochland Sports Complex Festival**
Welcome vendors! Choose from one of the four distinct locations within the Goochland Sports Complex Festival, all easily accessible for vendors and patrons alike, thanks to the 522-road closure during the event:
1. **The Football Field**: Located on the upper hill, this area boasts lush grass maintained by a sprinkler system, offering a pleasant and green setting for your booth.
2. **The Farmers Market Area**: This spot is perfect for those looking to be in a central, bustling area of the festival.
3. **Main Stage Area and Asphalt Parking Lot**: Ideal for vendors wanting high foot traffic and proximity to the main entertainment, ensuring your booth gets plenty of visibility.
4. **Kid Zone Area and Old Goochland Elementary School (GES) Track**: A great choice for vendors catering to families and children, providing a fun and engaging environment.
All locations are clearly marked by cones for easy identification, and our friendly volunteers will be available to assist you with setting up and finding your designated spot.

The Goochland Day Foundation is a dedicated non-profit organization that raises funds to host a free annual event for the citizens of Goochland and surrounding counties. This event showcases both small and large local businesses and fosters community spirit. The foundation collaborates with Goochland County, sponsors, vendors, and non-profits to create a hands-on, educational, and fun experience for everyone involved.
