Our band is “Losing Momentum”. We are a young (ages 15 to 17) rock band that formed at Wesbrook Community Centre. We mostly do covers of 90s and 2000s indy rock and pop. We also occasionally cover more recent guitar-based indy songs and artists such as Snail Mail and Declan McKenna. Our band members have varying schedules over the summer but for busking at the Farm, we will have 2-3 members (max) playing each time— at least the core duo of our lead singer (on guitar) and our lead guitarist. Our instruments are mostly acoustic/electric guitars/bass and we have a very portable cajon (drum).
