Farmers Market
June – September | Staunton, VA | Fridays, 11am – 1pm
1414 N Augusta St, Staunton, VA 24401
For those using WIC and/or Senior Farmer Market Nutrition Program vouchers, Project GROWS hosts a weekly farmers market at the Staunton-Augusta Health Department. This partnership with the Central Shenandoah Health District aims to increase access to local fruits and vegetables among families participating in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP) for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and low-income seniors.
This market is only open for participants of those programs. Visit Farm Market Fresh to learn more about joining the appropriate program. All other markets are open to the public.
This mobile market is made possible thanks to funding and services provided by the Virginia Food Access Investment Fund, the Geiman Foundation, and Howdy Bailey’s Yacht Services. Project GROWS also partners with Central United Methodist Church, the Staunton-Augusta Health Department and the Valley Program for Aging Services.
