As someone who has always been passionate about nutrition, I am acutely aware of the importance of providing healthy food options in low-income communities. Growing up, I saw firsthand how difficult it was for many people in my neighborhood to access fresh, healthy food. Instead, they were forced to rely on processed, packaged foods that were high in sugar, fat, and sodium. This experience inspired me to study nutrition, and I have dedicated my career to working with low-income communities to improve access to healthy food options.
