The Mobile Diabetes Center through Nebraska Methodist College offers screenings of blood pressure, blood glucose, hemoglobin A1c, total cholesterol, as well as height, weight and BMI measurements. These services are designed to identify individuals at risk for diabetes and other health conditions, providing education and referrals as needed. The mobile unit is fitted with a clinic inside for screenings that will be completed by Methodist Jennie Edmundson nurses and Nebraska Methodist College nurses and nursing students.

Iowa-based songwriter Andre Vander Velde's smooth voice and deft touch on the acoustic guitar fill his self-titled album, which features seven tracks, mixed and recorded with Jeremy Garrett at Hidden Tracks Recording Studio.
The songs flow from one to the next perfectly, telling stories of love, family, compassion, unity and peace, with some wisdom from the ups and downs of life mixed in for good measure. Andre's work on the guitar complements his vocals to offer a soothing, contemplative listening experience.
