The City of Rochester Public Market has been a hub of commerce and community in the Greater Rochester area since 1905. The Market is a unique place and experience that connects you closely to local producers and immerses you in the full diversity of the community.
The Market includes over300 vendor stalls located in both an indoor shed and under covered open air sheds. In addition, the vendor sheds are surrounded by a variety or thriving businesses that are a part of the Wider Marketview Heights Neighborhood’s Public Market District. Year round, through all four seasons, the Market offers the bounty of the region and the local flavor of the community.

Market grounds are accessible from Railroad St. (off East Main St), N. Union St. and Pennsylvania Ave. City owned free parking lots are accessible from Railroad St., N. Union St., and Scio St. (Note: there is limited parking within the gates on the Market grounds). The largest parking lot is accessible from Scio St and Trinidad St. (off N. Union St.). We suggest accessing this lot from Scio St. for busy Saturdays . A pedestrian/bike bridge runs over N. Union St. from the Scio St. / Trinidad St. parking lot to the Market grounds; bicycle racks are available throughout the Market grounds, bus service is available via Rochester Transit Service (myrts.com).
