With an exciting career in journalism and communications under her belt, Arielle pivoted to urban agriculture and marketing and has worked with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) and several farmers markets, connecting local farmers and producers, artisans and small businesses with communities across Virginia, and teaching youth nutrition education. With a passion for good food and people, Arielle oversees market operations in a mission of building a welcoming environment for community, fresh food and economic development in Downtown Hopewell. When Arielle is not planning Hopewell Farmers Market market days and events, you can find her hanging with her son, Joshua, trying new recipes and visiting farmers markets across Virginia.
