Jamestown Farmers Market

The Jamestown Farmers Market (JFM) while it has had many iterations, has existed since 1977 when a group of farmers and dedicated community members came together to form a weekly market after the closure of the Jamestown Public Market in in 1965.

Today JFM has a 25 week summer market (June - November), and a twice a month winter market (January - May) filled will local farmers, baked goods, value added products, and art.

The summer market has many special events to help build community around food including Art Week, in season produce days like "Strawberry Day" and "Apple Day".

The winter market offers FREE gluten and dairy pancakes (no really they're delicious!) for all who come to the market! Sometimes the reward of free pancakes with fresh local maple syrup is the only thing that will get folks out and about in the cold winter months!
