The Market is located at 500 – 508 Mountain Ave. in Purling, NY, and is home to Shinglekill Falls B&B, a renovated 1800's miller's house at the top of a beautiful 32-foot waterfall. This is a privately owned and run market. No committees, no red tape, and a really good time! Our mission is to showcase the property for special events while providing a beautiful venue where local farmers, producers, crafters, and artisans can provide a variety of fresh produce and related products directly to our residents and visitors to the area. Shinglekill Market Mondays have become a meeting place for neighbors and families with many return visitors. There is space for up to 35 vendors. We will always have hot food, libations, and music. If you are wondering “Why Mondays?” It is primarily for the fact that just about everything in Greene County is closed on Mondays!

We are certified with NYS Ag and Markets and have received EBT/SNAP certification too! The Ag and Markets certification means only NYS-grown and produced goods can be sold. The market will be canceled if there is a 65% chance of rain or high winds during market hours.

Shinglekill Falls B&B is a beautiful space for locals and tourists to experience the agricultural and artistic talent this area has to offer – all while enjoying live entertainment and a chance to see the majestic Shinglekill Falls.
